A love letter to myself…

What if wellness didn’t seem like such a chore…But instead, a love letter to yourself?

This year has been a rough one. Losing my dad has completely knocked me off track mentally, physically, and emotionally. Since then, my mom got very sick and we almost lost her as well. Its been tough to say the least. But it’s time to love on myself a bit. It’s time to have grace with myself, but also motivate myself to care for my mind, my emotions, and my body. So I decided to write a love letter to myself…

Dear Meg,

I know you’ve been carrying so much lately. You’ve pushed through the exhaustion, acknowledged the aches, and promised yourself you’d “get healthy later.” But I need you to hear this: you deserve more than later. You deserve now.

This isn’t about diets, fads, or chasing someone else’s version of wellness. This is about love—pure and simple. Simple foundational wellness steps, each day, is the way I choose to love you, not just in big sweeping gestures, but in the small daily promises that whisper, I care about you. You can do this. You are worth it. Dad would want you to care for yourself this way. God created a vessel for you to serve others, but you need to serve yourself in this way to do big things for His kingdom.

Now go do these things. Stay true to your commitment of wellness, and bless others in the process.

Love,

Meg.

The Little Things That Say “I Love You”

Loving myself means building a strong foundation of wellness, so I can stand tall when life gets heavy. It looks like:

  • Eating to nourish, not just to fill—choosing foods that give me energy, protect my health, and make me feel alive.

  • Resting without guilt—allowing sleep to become the reset my mind and body crave.

  • Moving with joy—whether that’s a morning stretch, a long walk, or dancing in the kitchen.

  • Breathing deeply and slowing down—because stillness is also strength.

  • Filling in the nutritional gaps — because lets face it, our food just isn’t cutting it anymore. We need more help.

These aren’t chores. They’re quiet, steady love notes I leave for myself every day.

Now, dear reader, what would your love letter to yourself say? Would it remind you to finally listen to your body’s whispers before they turn into shouts? Would it promise to protect the energy you need for the things you love most—your children, your dreams, your laughter? Would it ask you to heal what needs to be healed?

Foundational wellness doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It’s simply a way of saying, I matter. My health matters. My future matters.

Products That Become Love Notes

When I choose the right wellness tools—whether it’s supplements that give me daily strength and simplify nutrition, or calming routines that protect my emotions/sleep—I’m not buying things. I’m investing in love letters that future me will open with gratitude.

You can do the same. Imagine every healthy choice as a note you’re tucking away for the version of you who wakes up vibrant, resilient, and full of joy.

My Promise, Your Promise

So here it is, my vow to myself: I will choose wellness not because it’s easy, but because I am worthy of the life it creates.

And here’s your invitation: what will your vow say? How will you write your own love letter in the form of nutrition, rest, movement, and care?

Because at the end of the day, wellness isn’t just a routine—it’s a declaration of love. To yourself, from yourself.
